A full remodel of a four-story home in Bernal Heights with some unique structural features. The mezzanine and steel stairs were suspended from the framing above with steel rods giving the sense of floating elements. A two-story moment frame at the rear allowed for a completely open facade with fixed windows above and a folding NanaWall below.
